Company Overview

DavLong Business Solutions was founded in 1983 for the sole purpose of providing computerized business solutions. During the span of our 22-year history we have narrowed our focus to the Medical industry. Initially this took the form of automating our clients billing and practice management requirements.

With a business focused on installing and supporting Practice Management Systems the natural path of evolution for the company was to automate other areas within the Medical Practice. In 1993 we installed our first Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Systems. We realized that the existing EMR products only addressed a subset of our clients’ requirements. We therefore became a system integrator choosing the best component products available from other vendors and combining them with products developed in-house. This approach has allowed us to select of the best solution for each client’s requirements, creating a best of breed product.

Another basic tenet vital to DavLong is our focus on our clients as a source of direction in improving our product and our company. Our clients are our best source of feedback on how to better support and install our systems. Primarily this is accomplished by implementing tight feedback loops as part of our procedures, which provides continuous evaluation on the effectiveness and improvement of our installation and support. New product creation is based on client requests. Development is performed as much as possible in many small steps rather then a few big ones allowing us to get new products quickly in client’s hands and receive feedback.
