EHR Training

DavLong’s highly-qualified support staff is here to help you with all your practice management and electronic health records training needs! In order to provide the most thorough understanding of each product suite to our clients, DavLong includes the following with every implementation:

• Implementation planning
• Complete installation and testing
• Comprehensive on-site EHR software training
• Go-live support
• On-going, long term support

Additionally, we assign a project manager to oversee your individual installation. We offer onsite training in two phases: the first phase includes the practice management system and the second phase includes electronic health records training. We strive on forming long lasting relationships with our clients, so we also offer EHR training for current clients that need a refresher course or have new employees needing training.

For our clients in Eye Care, we have certified technicians (COA, COT, COMT) and licensed opticians (ABOC) on staff for training and support.  During your EHR Training, we will identify “Super Users” within your clinic who will be given advanced training on setup, configuration, and customization. We feel it is very important to have “Super Users” on staff for a successful implementation.

During and after the initial training of the Super Users, the system is customized for the practice and/or each doctor; including documents, pick-lists, procedure notes, referral letters, etc.  Next, we train the rest of the staff on the system, connect your diagnostic devices and go live.

All implementation plans are reviewed with our clients prior to moving forward. We feel your success leads to our success!

Our staff will work with you to make sure your implementation is a success. This takes commitment and dedication from the entire DavLong team, including Project Managers, Implementation Specialists, Hardware Technicians, the Development Team, and Support Personnel.
